A dream sequence takes place where she thinks of all that she had gone through involving him, mixed with thoughts of the future. The two of them spending time together. All the while, the song IRIS by Tommee Profitt and Ruelle is playing. The lyrics perfectly reflect her thoughts, feelings, and concerns involving the man she is in love with. She wakes up to a unique ring tone she set for Jason. It is this song. The dream sequence fades into reality as she wakes up, linking back up to the events depicted in the novel.
